INQUIRIUM is specialized in STEAM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), Sports and Health, and Educational Technologies. INQUIRIUM brings multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Science Education, Educational Technologies, Sports and Exercise Science, and Physical Education, with long-term experience in the preparation and submission of proposals and in the implementation of projects, combining knowledge and skills from academia and industry. Its work is grounded in educational research outcomes. INQUIRIUM’s focus, as reflected in its published work, includes science education research covering topics such as inquiry-based learning and teaching, argumentation, modeling-based teaching and learning, and formative assessment; educational technology research involving the use of digital and emerging technologies in education (e.g., chatbots, Virtual Reality, virtual learning environments, simulations, games); and physical education research focusing on Physical Literacy, e-sports, use of digital and emerging technologies in physical education and sports, and physical activity for health. INQUIRIUM has expertise in participatory methodologies (i.e., co-design techniques, participatory dialogue, design thinking) and knowledge of contemporary pedagogies (inquiry-based learning and teaching, problem-based learning, experiential learning, etc.). INQUIRIUM also has experience in developing learning frameworks, innovative curricula, creative training materials, evaluation, and skills progression frameworks. For the EQUAL project, INQUIRIUM leads WP2 (Development of a Curriculum) and actively contributes to the other work packages.
